Hi! My name is Brianna Vogel. I am 11 years old and in the 6th grade. I started a project called "Brianna's Pennies of Love" because I have a really big heart and I love my little brother.
I got the idea for "Brianna's Pennies of Love" one day when I went up to the Children's Hospital in Austin, Texas. I went there because my brother had to have his special medicine. He gets his medicine through his "Blue Button".
I started "Brianna's Pennies of Love" when I was 5 years old. "Brianna's Pennies of Love" collects money and art supplies for childern with medical needs. I use the money to buy art and craft supplies on wish lists at hospitals and clinics and to make art bags for children in isolation. They need large easels, painting smocks, drying racks, and other art supplies. The children use the art supplies to keep them busy while they are receiving extended medical treatment. This includes the Children's Blood and Cancer Center, Children's Dialysis Clinic, other infusion centers, and Dell Children's Hospital's playrooms and art bags for children in isolation.
In March of 2007, "Brianna's Pennies of Love" became a nonprofit organization. I did this so that "Brianna's Pennies of Love" could help more kids.
Your donations can help improve the lives of these special children.
